Srinagar: In response to the ongoing heatwave and concerns from parents and stakeholders, the Kashmir Division has announced a change in school timings for all Government and Recognized Private Schools up to the Higher Secondary level. Classes will now commence from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm in both rural and urban areas until August 10, 2024. Teaching and non-teaching staff will be on duty from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. This decision aligns with weather forecasts predicting continued high temperatures.
