Srinagar: In the midst of ongoing protests over the reservation policy, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has assured a delegation of students that their concerns will be addressed within six months. The assurance comes as tensions rise, with calls for a more rational and inclusive reservation framework.
The commitment follows growing public pressure and planned demonstrations, including one led by MP Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi outside the CM’s residential office at Gupkar. The students' delegation expressed cautious optimism but emphasized that they would continue monitoring the government's actions closely.
