Northern Railway has officially announced the launch of the Vande Bharat Express for the Katra-Srinagar route, slated to commence after January 20, 2025. This initiative is part of the ambitious Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) project.
Katra to Srinagar Schedule
- Vande Bharat Express: Departs Katra at 8:10 AM and arrives in Srinagar at 11:20 AM.
- Mail Express (Morning): Departs at 9:50 AM, arriving at 1:10 PM.
- Mail Express (Afternoon): Departs at 3:00 PM, arriving at 6:20 PM.
Srinagar to Katra Schedule
- Vande Bharat Express: Departs Srinagar at 12:45 PM and arrives at 3:55 PM.
- Mail Express (Morning): Departs at 8:55 AM, arriving at 12:05 PM.
- Mail Express (Afternoon): Departs at 3:10 PM, arriving at 6:30 PM.
Delhi to Srinagar Connection
The Vande Bharat train will also connect directly to Srinagar from Delhi. It departs Delhi at 7:00 PM and arrives in Srinagar at 8:00 AM the following day.
